This week, while reviewing the Tarot Card of the Day, The World Tree popped in twice. A message of confirmation.
Typically the World Tree is meant as a completion of your path. This is a major arcana card. The card shows the maze you have traveled as it opens to the door of the World Tree. You have traveled (as the Wanderer) through the major arcana, meeting people and situations to help you grow. When you reach the World Tree, your journey has culminated with all of the wisdom you have gained on your journey. The World Tree shows all of the seasons, a universal gift of understanding. As you finish your journey, you open the door into the World Tree and step through. A ending/beginning to a new journey based on the wisdom you have gained.
This is the basics of the World Tree as I explain the meaning in the readings I perform for others and myself. Within this definition, I also incorporate other Tarot cards before and after where ever the World Tree falls.
In this instance, the World Tree came in after The Ace of Stones – Foundation of Life and Page of Bows – Stoat. My interpretation of this would be to look at establishing a good foundation in a new beginning. The messenger of Fire/Creativity asks the question of Who is offering an opportunity? How would things change if you engaged in this? The beginning of starting something new needs a solid foundation and someone has offered the opportunity to you. Then the World Tree pops in. Whatever the opportunity which was presented to you has now finished as represented by the World Tree, but this is also a beginning, for once you walk through the door, a new journey begins. One fresh with opportunities, one which will need a solid foundation and one where a messenger is presenting an opportunity. Passing through the World Tree allows you leave the negativity behind, provides you a fresh outlook with the excitement of a new journey.
The Shaman and the Six of Arrows – Transition appears after the World Tree. So as you walk through the World Tree, the Shaman greets you and says “Welcome. Welcome to a new journey, where you can manifest your opportunity from the Ace of Stones and Page of Bows. You have the tools to succeed and I will ensure you use them for your advantage on your journey.” The Six of Arrows shows you are in transition in learning these new skills and applying them in how you want to shape the opportunity presented to you. You are moving under the cover of darkness, with a full sail to your next destination. Moving in a forward direction within a Queen of Arrows – Swan boat. The Queen of Arrows – Swan is significant in itself as she is always looking for other waters to travel in. She is also the Queen of Air and leads in intellectual pursuits.
The second World Tree pops in again. This is a confirmation of sorts of your journey. It is gaining a solid foundation. Someone/thing/thought has planted a creative message for you to engage with. The new journey has begun. The Shaman has given you the tools to manifest the opportunity and you are now in transition of making the opportunity happen before you. This short cycle has led you to and ending and another beginning. As you walk through the World Tree, a second time, the knowledge and wisdom gained allows you to feel the confidence of putting the plans into action on an intellectual level.
